Not hunting related- but a slow time on here and this place is a great community- figured I would share- after a pretty long relationship- I popped the question on top of Estes Park in Colorado (around 13,000+ ft after hiking to a peak- and she said yes (of course;) ) it was an absolute beautiful place- perfect weather- scenery was far better than any pictures could show and about 150 yards away from me dropping to a knee was 3 bulls and a cow elk!

Estes Park is one of the most beautiful places in the US

Did you stay at the hotel where they filmed Dumb and Dumber??
 
Congratulations to you and your fiancée. Two tips would be to spend money on your photographer and honeymoon. You won't remember squat from that entire day so great pictures matter and take a full week and go somewhere nice with your wife. I highly recommend some of the couples only resorts in the Caribbean. By far and away the best money I spent was on our honeymoon.
 
Great idea, take her up to 13K feet and pop the question so her oxygen deprived brain can't function. Sounds like a keeper assuming she too is a Cubs fan.

I thought the lack of oxygen would certainly improve my odds;). She is a Braves fan unfortunately. But I'm slowly converting her. We go to wrigley many times each year. Phillies Friday thru Sunday this month is next!
