Help with stuck wire brush

Help!! I went to clean my TC and the wire brush broke off at the very bottom of the barrel. What's the best way to retrieve it? Threads came up with the rod....

Could you SOMEHOW make a tight "j hook" on the end of a heavy wire and then get down there and fanaggle it back out? Probably going to scratch the inside of the barrel

Perhaps a round ball puller or get a piece of copper tubing that fits in the barrel and work it or the brush bristles to colapse them and pull it out?

Ive tried the ball puller with no luck. The pipe might work. I've thought about getting a chemical that would (eat) the brush but I'm afraid to damage the barrel.

You could pull the nipple and try to get some powder between the brush and nipple then replace the nipple and try to blow it out.

Small plumbing snake with a coil spring end get it wrapped up in the brush pull it back?

I'd second the drain snake or a piece of paracord on the end of the rod and get it as snagged up on the brush as possible

Maybe pull the nipple and use compressed air to blow it out.
