I personally think its to late. I'm sure you'd get some green tops up but I wouldn't think you'd get much at all for bulbs. If its an option I think you still have time to plant something like the Dbltree mix of rye, oats, radish, peas and clover. I've always had great luck with this fall mix...
Planning to buy a few blinds this year. I want something with windows and room for 2 adults. Some locations will need to be elevated and some can sit on the ground. I can't afford any of the big named brands. Hoping some of you might could suggest me some nice blinds that won't break the bank...
I have a Kodiak and love it. One section for long guns is hinged to swing out allowing access to guns in the back. Very handy feature.
And like mentioned above. Go bigger and have lots of buddies around
Ok thanks guys. I'm spraying it with roundup today. With the heat we've got coming next few days I'm hoping for a good burn. Hoping to get it planted before the rain forecast next week.
Keep the advice coming. This is all new to me
Guys I've been using the Dbltree fall mix for several years now and love it. I'm wanting to add a grain plot as well this year but have never planted such. I'd like to plant beans. I'm looking for any and all advice on the steps I should go through. The field I'm planning to plant was farmed in...
Anyone have a good load with low recoil for a small kid? I'm shooting 57 grains of VV120 with 300 grain bullet in mine. Way to much punch for my daughter. I'm planning to set my spare gun up for her. Prolly a max range of 100-120 yards depending on how well she does practicing. Thanks guys
I usually just sit back and read everyone's comments on these subjects but it's hard for me to keep quiet on this one. You don't buy the kid angle? I took up the great sport of deer hunting when I was young and I'm very thankful for what the sport has done for me. I grew up with cousins that...
Been wanting one for a while now. Ready to make the purchase. What's you guys preference? Brand, size, model, etc??? I'll mostly be storing game. Lots of summer sausage sticks and they're 12-15 inches long.
Picked up a couple of these last weekend. Haven't opened them yet. After reading some reviews I'm hesitant about maybe taking them back and getting something better. Anyone got any advise on them before I make my decision to hang them or carry them back? Thanks
My daughter is 6 and has been shooting her Diamond Atomic since she was 4. Like said it has great adjustability. She loves shooting it. She is very small but has no problems with the Atomic turned down. I highly recommend it
I started using it last summer on young walnuts and white oaks. Best product I've used so far. I noticed a huge improvement over other products I've used over the last couple years. I don't wait as long between applications as it says you can
