Like Daver said, your best bets are going to be Mt. Pleasant, Fairfield, Ottumwa, etc.
Also check out Centerville. I think you'd have a better chance getting hired on for a city position than a county position around here because in many cases more than half of a rural county's poulation lives...
Just like the title says, do you guys know what the odds are for drawing a NR late muzz tag? Id like to get my dad out here to hunt the late season this winter, and just wondered if this tag can still be drawn the first year.
Thanks.
Sounds real scary and all, but.. WAIT A MIUNTE!!! The IDNR is not telling ANY non-resident landowner they cant hunt on their farms. They can go buy a general hunting license and hunt small game if they want to hunt their ground any time. They dont have to let a landowner have every tag to hunt...
It doesnt mean you have to physically be in iowa for 90 consecutive days prior to the season! It means that if you move to iowa from another state, you cant buy a resident licesnse until 90 days after moving
Cheap binoculars and no hat???. Must not be a very serious shed hunter! LOL;)
And March 14th 2010 was a monday, so he is most likely umemployed also if he is shed hutnting at 1:44 pm during the week???
Several groups of guys do this in my area, and it is an effective way to kill "yotes"
But when i see the hounds scatter large groups of wintering deer from sanctuary timber, im not sure its worth the dead yotes?
