About 100# per acre if you drill it, or 150 if you broadcast it. So double that for 2 acres. For large areas I wouldn't put that much, but no bigger than that it will not cost that much and it will look and work really well.

I personally use two straps along with the hook, when I just put one strap on the top button the stand seems to be too mobile to me. I think the reason for not using the bottom button with the hook is that if the stand raises up off the hook, there would be a lot of leverage on that bottom...
Cooter is correct, that's what the instructions are per Lone Wolf. Anything can break, even when used correctly, that is why we should all use safety belts all the time, every time. Also life lines are great as well. Lone wolf also recommends new straps every few years.
Sligh, I don't know why it's moved back or if it will stay. It may be the rotation looked you said. I just know this year it is a week after AR gun season, and in all years past that I can remember it has been the same. We can only hope.
