Get rid of the XTPs!!! In the past i've been very happy with the performance of all of the Barnes bullets, but currently I'm shooting the hornady 300gr SST with good results. I have 2 recommendations.
1). Start shooting a premium bullet
2). Buy a 17 HMR to practice with all summer...
Missed my opportunity, stopped raining around 10ish!! I'm leaving for Zimbabwe so hopefully they will keep struggling against the browsing pressure and ill have a nice plot for the fall. Thanks for advice.
Getting hammered!!!
Currently my brassica plots are getting hammered. My questions is how tolerant are brassicas to browsing pressure? The plants are just starting to form bulbs and if they can handle the pressure I was planning on broadcasting some urea tomorrow before the rain hits?
I think I already know the answer, but I'm looking for some experience vs opinion. Who has had success spraying poast plus in your brassica plots to help control grass and what rates were used? I've got an old 2 1/2 of PP that needs used up. Thanks
All joking aside, savage make a great gun! I can't say enough good things about it, but in the end it doesn't shoot any better then my Knight Long Range Hunter.
Can anyone help with identifying this grass/weed? It's in several of our local road ditches, it appears to tolerate wet feet and doesn't appears to be aggressively spreading. I'm looking for a economical, low maintenance screening cover for a frontage road ditch.
Welded some all thread to the top of an electric fence post and then tread the camera onto the post. It works but the cameras take beating!!! Not sure who's to blame but I've had 2 cameras broke off and laying 20-30 feet from the post.
