I think it possible. but a shot in the dark really due to the angle of the second pic. It looks like a good antlered 1 1/2 year old and a 4 1/2 maybe 5 1/2 year old at best. He lacks that grizzley old moutain man look of an old buck.

Yes... But never in a hunting situation. I have not been in the woods during shotgun season since 91. To many once a year trigger pullers.

300WSM. Why by a new gun chambered for a long cartridge when the new short mags are available. I assume it will be a bolt gun. But you asked about the gun not what cartridge. So the answer is obvious. ENCORE........

That is a GREAT buck. This site and the company it keeps sets a very high bar when it comes to what is "big". 99 out of 100 hunters would not have thought twice on that guy. Great buck and a great Encore. How's he like the gun?

I would'nt recommmend it to anyone. It's worse than meth. A terrible cross to bare once afflicted. And it only takes one puff!

My daughters first buck. After she shot her first deer during the youth season she was quick to say yes when I told her she could get an early MZ tag. She did'nt have alot of time available to hunt so we decided any buck would be the order of the day. We did actually pass one up this size. But...
