Ya only time I ever got into any was in Minnesota! Me and a buddy from work have been cleanin up on bluegill and crappie on our bosses pond just lookin for a change of scenery. I caught a bullhead through the ice today!

Anyone know of somewhere a guy can get into some perch through the ice in eastern iowa? Crappie and bluegill is gettin old! Thanks!!

This makes me feel ALOT better. I hunted this mornin till 8 had to get to work at 9 as I was drivin past where I was just hunting I saw a doe being chased by a 150 class buck. Figures. Glad you guys are still keepin me hopeful.

I found a small dead buck tonight on the way home from my stand. No roads anywhere close and could not find any blood or a hole where it was shot. Is it possible that EHD will kill a deer this late in the year? He didnt look like he had been dead more than a few days or a week.
