Way to go Wyatt!!! I can't wait to hear the story tomorrow in your words. You beat me by 24 years! I don't think Cam will hunt but Simon can't wait to start.
Congrats to Pat too!
It sure sounded to me like the doe tags during early muzzle was a done deal even though almost every one of us spoke up about it. He basically said we complained about the November doe season last year and it turned out fine so just wait and see about the early muzzle doe season this year.

But your probably right, way too many liberals in IC to let us hunters shoot a few.

Careful now. I live in Iowa City, I consider myself to be a liberal and I'm all for bow hunting. I hunted in Coralville this year. Rather than liberals I would prefer to call them...

ROFLMAO!
WOW! That is one really funky buck! I wouldn't want to be the one that had to drag that out of the woods though, my back hurts just looking at that wide load.
My second year of muzzleloader hunting I had a hernia operation on Dec 18. I could barely walk but I went out at the end of the season. All I could do was sit on the ground and pray a deer fell in my lap. I never even got a shot off but there was no way I wasn't going to go out.
The guy in the picture above used to be the Archery manager at Fin and Feather in Iowa City. That buck was harvested in Washington Co., IA during bow season and had a gross score of 190". The article about the hunt was in the Iowa City Press Citizen.
