    Many of my friends moved here for Iowa's Hunting Quality! I moved across the state for better opportunity. I was born and raised here and I stayed in Iowa and raised a family for a few reasons...its quality of living, good values and deer hunting. Never thought I would get sold out though.

    Not a super old pic but a pretty cool one! The guy that gave me the photo said these 2 were shot together in the same area (either the same day or the next day). I believe your looking at 450" of antler if what he told me is correct. Pretty crazy!!

    There is an area west of Guthrie Center with no access. The landowners that adjoin this have their own personal honey hole! I have seen what comes out of there. I believe there is also a chunk of public surrounded by indian tribe ground located by Onawa. Also good ground! Could never figure out...

    This year I had a mature doe bed along a creek approx 60yds from me. From my stand I watched a bobcat stalk the bedded doe and pounced on her. He didn't get the job done but wow what a sight! Ballsy little devil!
