Would you mind explaining why you’d like all canoes and kayaks to be registered?

    Farm Managers

That’s a problem all in itself. The LO is a pushover, and has been as long as I’ve known him. He originally told the farm manager he was only hired for the 2019 season, but about a month ago, the farm manager told the LO that he “didn’t tell him in time”, and is locked in for 2020 ;):rolleyes...

    Farm Managers

Can a farm manager sell land rights without the landowner’s consent? Kind of a long story so I’ll try to condense. I’ve been hunting a neighbor/friend’s land (timber) for a couple of years now. Known them for 20 ish years. They are an elderly farming couple (crops and cattle), so we help them...

    Trail cam reader

Yep, SD card reader works for Browning Strike Force Pro XD photos and videos on my iPhone 7. Cool! Unfortunately, videos only show the thumbnail in the “import” tab. Has to be “imported” to the phone to play I guess. Oh well

    Trail cam reader

I like my Browning’s with the built-in viewing screen. Don’t have any wireless cameras. Hmm, I have an SD card reader for my phone...I wonder if iOS will playback the cam videos? Should the pictures, but I haven’t tried.

    Drone tresspassing

There are many legitimate uses for drones and I’d hate to see so many regulations on a recreational activity that it is no longer enjoyable. Let us look at one possible scenario. Say a strong storm hits an area and someone with a drone would like to take a video showing the damage. Should simply...

    Drone tresspassing

FYI, shooting down a drone is a federal felony, since most of them are registered with the FAA. So if you shoot one down, it better not be able to see you ;)

    Browning trail cameras

Never had it happen, but whitetails4ever has given good advice. Sounds like a firmware or hardware problem. If the firmware doesn’t fix it, pull the batteries and turn the power on for a while. Turn switch to off, reinsert batteries and test it again.

    Morels

From what I’ve read on the subject, they release their spores once the “fruit” is mature and conditions are correct.

    Morels

Found nine nice yellows this evening! Stopped cause it was getting too dark in the little timber patch. Don’t want to step on any tasty fungus! Oh, growth report of one of the shrooms on May 2 and May 10! Doubled in size, 1.5” to 3”. Biggest was 5.25” tall. Something took a bite out of the...

    Morels

Guys - keep in mind the grays are immature and do not have many (if any) spores...be sure to let some grow and mature! Fun to watch them grow and become yellows, also. Have yet to get out. Plan too in the next few days. The Asparagus wasn’t up when I looked last week, need to check that again, too.

    Kill em all...

I’m waiting the first skeeter sighting. Shouldn’t be long before all the blood suckers are out in full force. Time to start devouring garlic and taking some vitamin B. ;)
