Buddy missed a 10pt (150ish he thought) at 50 yards said there was pretty good mvmt this morning.

I have a holder...I had a couple situations where a doe or buck snuck up on me without me realizing but they weren't shooters so it wasn't a huge deal. Like you I hold during the last hour of light.

I had a decent 10 pushing 3 does last night. Covered about 300 yds in about 25 mins. I had a buck decoy out, and once he was about 100yds out he came on a line to check out the decoy. Wasn't aggressive just pretty curious....I missed my shot ( just ignore the minor detail)

Hydrogen Peroxide bubbles when it comes in contact with blood, you could carry a spray bottle of that if you're really desperate.

Was wondering if anyone could help with the age of this deer? I'm hoping to keep him around so I can see what he looks like next year, but a buddy thought he was pretty old and wasn't going to grow much.
