NW Iowa. Saw a little buck pushing a doe around on the 27th. Went scouting on the 2nd to see if the corn was out. Saw a 2 1/2 year old following a doe with a 4 1/2 year old mid 150's buck shadowing them.

I think a buck is mostly likely to bed with the wind at his back and facing an area where he can see what is going on in front of him. I would take that apply it to the bend in the river in your area so you can get a general idea of a bedding area for a north and south wind.

Yes, I hunted every morning last week. You have to catch them from feeding to their bedding areas. I sat till about 9:30-9:45 every morning with the majority of the movement at 8:00-8:30 these were all does and dinks. Havent seen a mature buck in the morning but havent seen one in the evenings...

Saw a guy walkin around some public yesterday with muzz in hand. Wasnt wearing any type of orange and was tempted to call in!

Not really a BS story but there was a kid in a nearby high school that claims he is the best at scoring deer by a picture. I shot a typical 150 inch 10 point and ask him to score it. He says 260 inches no doubt! Im only 17 so Im sure I will hear many more stories to come!

Saturday Morning saw 6 bucks chasing a doe for about an hour and a half. Most were dinks and had a 140" 8 point at 15 yards. Too bad I already filled my buck tag!
