Roundup Ready Corn & Soybean Food Plot

I did the RR Eagle forage beans this last year, they grew well but certainly not shoulder high like their marketing pictures. Lots of pods and did stay green a bit longer than all the beans around me. I also fenced mine off till second week in October or so. I’ll probably just do regular RR...

    Clover

Going back to 2018/19 in this topic I see there's mention of IMOX Herbicide for killing grass and broadleaf weeds in clover. I'm curious if anyone has used this the past few years and what their results have been? It is pricey stuff but if it gets both the normal grass, weeds and bonus it...

    Clover

Appreciate the feedback guys. My plot is about 1.25 acres. Let's say I do end up going spring planting with oats for a cover, from what I can gather from previous posts, I'm going with 50-100 #'s of forage oats per acre. With the oats I've got 25#'s of a clover mix to go with it (mix of...

    Clover

I've read through all 61 pages of this, so much good info. Seriously priceless. However, I'm torn between spring and fall planting for what I plan to be a long lived clover plot. Right now, the area that will eventually be all clover is all rape and radishes. My thought was to disc/plant...

    Cell cams

Is there an easy way to test things once you get to the field? Sounds like the emails take quite some time to show up (over an hour??) - just curious how you can set this stuff and know relatively quickly if things are working without hanging around to long.

    Cell cams

Anyone use the solar panels with the Cuddelink Dual Cell's? Good/bad/otherwise? Any external 12v hookups? I'd like to get one of the master units on top of a hill (should get 4G/3G easily) and then link another one to it that sits down in the stuff where cell signal is pretty bad (less than...

    Any Pond Experts?? Moss Problem..

Glad you got results! I checked mine a few days ago and the problem remains. I’m not so sure mine is any better than had I done nothing. Mine next plan is Tsunami DQ since I know I put plenty of copper sulphate down the first time.

    Any Pond Experts?? Moss Problem..

Waldo - will you post back your results please?? That was my next plan was to buy the granular stuff but I’ve read the granular isn’t meant for the floating weeds. Somebody on the internet has gotta be right though!

    Any Pond Experts?? Moss Problem..

Yep, grass carp went in last year so they’re just babies yet. Daver, it does say something to that extent on the bottle. Just seems crazy that it still didn’t even make a dent in it.

    Any Pond Experts?? Moss Problem..

Hey guys, I tried to tackle this moss thing on my own by reading online about the different types and what to use and NOT HARM FISH while still allowing me and my kids to jump in it. I've spent enough time on youtube and different University sites that I should have a degree, but I certainly...

I was also a Slick Trick Magnum believer, but this year I went Slick Trick Wicked Trick - 3 kills, all dropped within sight. Love em.

    Lasik

I had mine done at West Des Moines about 3 years ago. I did PRK as opposed to regular lasik. I’m still 15/20. I did mine when I was 35, wish I would have done it years sooner. They told me I’d be down and sitting in the dark for one day. I couldn’t do a thing for three days due to light...

Ugh, it’s eveywhere in there.. am I replanting with all three of those options? I might just roast it all and start over since I’d be reseeding a lot of spots. Sucks!

    Grass help..

Hey all, need some help identifying what grass I’m dealing with in my clover. I hit this stuff with Clethodim a couple months ago and it didn’t phase it. I keep mowing it down and keeps coming back in no time. What else can I spray it with that won’t kill the clover...

New sping planted clover plot - grass/weeds

Good info guys. Ill let the new stuff do its thing for now and just mow it without spray. As for the Cleth on the existing plot, i did use crop oil at the labeled rate. At about 2.5 weeks after though the grass didnt seemed phased much.. maybe Ill hit it again with 15oz here in another month...

New sping planted clover plot - grass/weeds

Hey all, been a member on here for quite a while but never posted - time for that to change! I planted a small 1/2 acre Whitetail Imperial Clover plot late in early May after spraying/killing the whole area and disc'ing it up. I also put down about 600 lbs of Lime once the seed was in and...
