I was able to harvest a big mature buck this year, taxidermist aged him at 7.5 years old. Hunted hard for 2 weeks and passed alot of small bucks. On the last day of vacation I was able to tag out.

YES!!! I love it!!! For so many reasons...... age is the trophy, u made room for others, he’s peaked out, some other guys wouldn’t have shot or even known he was old. That’s an awesome buck to shoot in so many ways. I got one like that a few years ago - smaller but old too. & that’s a dang big 6!!! Really happy on Bucks like that. To be honest- i wish u were my neighbor - hunting for AGE and not just score. Love it. Well done!
