It is possible for a doe to have four fawns, although their survival is not very likely. A closeer look may reveal that one of the "fawns" was really a doe fawn from last year. Not as small as the yearlings, but not quite as big as the mother.
I was out last week and saw a doe with four fawns. I have never seen that before. I'm thinking that must be rare unless she picked up an orphan or two. Has anyone else ever seen that?
