Went on a week trip down to gulf shores with friends and family and although it wasn't a "fishing trip" that is all it seemed we did- a Great place ad phenominal fishing! I didn't do a great job at taking pictures because most our fishing was done wading out in the ocean- but by far the most species of fish I ever caught at once time. We caught Stingrays- eels- spinner sharks- another 6
Foot shark I wasn't sure what type- flounder- mangrove snapper- Redfish- croaker- drum- whiting - speckled trout- Spanish mackerel- King mackerel- Jack- bluefish- Ladyfish (unreal fighters and jumpers) and a few others I can't remember names for. I will post what pictures I took on Monday once I get to my office- but a great trip and great fishing! And a bonus cooler full of all types of fish filets ready for the grill!
 
I didn't- but I can imagine that would be good fishing as well- we fished the pier in the AM and the brackish water jetti at dusk - saw a few people
Hook into 100lb or so Tarpon as well- they had no chance in that fight:)
 
There's a good walk in spot in the Bay Area, about 10 mins drive from the pier if you're ever down there again. Good for redfish and specks.
 
Like I said- I was terrible at taking pictures on this trip because I left my phone at the house most of the time- not pictured are the sharks- stingrays and keeper redfish- a few other photos are just randoms from the trip- I will certainly be back again!

Thanks Daver- some of the best eating fish I have ever caught- pretty happy my freezer is full with em:)
 
Is that Chad with you? What kind of fish is that he is holding?
Looks like you guys had a blast.. we'll have to make sure to get a few pics friday
 
Yup-that's Chadd- that was a Jackfish- there were quite a few of them caught last week- everyone that hooked into one had a min 20-30 min fight -- We will certainly get pics Friday night
