Monster Doe
Guest
Just wanted to share my October 30th harvest with you guys, this buck made a grand entrance. He came in and after spotting the doe that was milling around in the area, he proceeded to destroy every piece of foliage in his path, making a few scrapes along the way. Every 30 or 40 seconds he'd look over to make sure the doe was paying attention to the display. I stopped him quartered slightly away with a grunt at 22 yards and put a Hoyt launched Beman right in the boiler room. He ran about 60 yards and crashed, what a great feeling. Ends up netting 140 3/8, grossing 145 4/8. I'm proud of the buck, but it's hard not to wonder what he'd look like with another year under his belt. Good luck to all of you this season!
P.S. Thanks Rudd!
