Hybrid popular as a rub tree?

Has anyone used a hybrid popular as a
rub tree. I find myself with an abundance
of these (at least the top half.) thanks to. 70 MPH wind and rain from last night's
storms. Any input would be great, thanks.

I would think that hybrid poplar would work fine for mock rub tree...but I also have not specifically used that species.

I used it for the first time last year and it worked fine in my opinion. I have no other attempts to compare it with. The deer shredded it, and lots of bucks kept visiting through rut. Don't know after that as I took cams down then.

Yes it should work, basswood is a great rub tree as well.
