Now that the rain stopped I was finally able to get my last food plot planted. When I ran out of beans I switched to corn for less than an acre. Its obviously late but what the heck! I mainly wanted to see of the old case IH drill from the 50's would plant the seed. It seemed to work just fine. I plugged enough holes to get me a 28" row spacing. Im not expecting much but stayed tunned for updates.

My expectations! About 4 foot hight and 3 inch ears!!!!

I might have gone with tighter rows so that the corn canopied quicker which would save moisture and help shade out competing weeds. Hopefully you get some timely rains.
