Kansas Bowhunting

Which Zones would any of you guys recommend for a guy to check into in Kansas? Not looking for exact spots here. Just hoping to get some insight! Is there a lot of public land in Kansas? Any with good trophy potential?
Any outfitters that have been good to you guys would be appreciated also.

I don't really have any particular units & can tell you are better than others, because if you ask any hunter here they'll tell you there are quality bucks found in every unit and/or county. The record books show this too. I'd concentrate on the eastern half of the state for whitetails, and the western half for big mule deer bucks.

I have an uncle and a whole family that live in kansas but my particular uncle owns some land with lots of turkeys and i've seen some big bucks down there so i suppose deer is real good down there also.
