Last week my boy Owen took his first black bear in the North woods of Minnesota! Watching him shoot that bear was way better then me shooting one myself.
On the 4th day of the season we got set up at 2:45 and saw a bear came to the edge of the bait at 4:10 but wouldn’t offer a shot before walking back into the woods. It wasn’t more the 10 minutes latter another bear came in and sat right at the bait. Owen took aim and squeezed off a shot dropping him in his tracks.
