I am getting ready to build a shooting bench. Does anyone have any recommendations? Right now the best I have is plans for the one below. Looks pretty stout and should last a long time of treated periodically.

Do a Google search theres a ton of different options but all depends if u want portable or fixed...I wouldnt want to move the one you posted very far but sure looks solid I've seen them put pins to adjust the seat up and down also instead of having it 1 height! I was gonna build one and decided for the amount of shooting I do a lead sled and plastic table works just fine

I'm going for permanent. I just put in a small range behind my house. 50, 100 & 150 yard targets. If it gets moved it will be with a tractor.

I made one very similar to the one pictured. Works great. Probably 5 years old now. One thing I did different was I put indoor outdoor carpet on the top.

I think I like the carpet idea. Does it get really dirty or stay pretty clean?

It stays clean. First year I left a tarp over it but mice made a nest under it. Since then I have left it uncovered.
