Hey guys, I’m new to the site, looking forward to learning more about deer hunting in Iowa. I’m from Louisiana, and we are coming up this year to hunt for 2 weeks, bow hunt. We plan to hunt the southwest part of the state. We have been going to atchison county Missouri for 7 years, which isn’t too far from the Iowa. If anyone has any pointers or tips on certain areas to check out, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

I do not hunt public much in that area, but have heard there are good public areas in all the counties along the river. Definitely a good area.
