Youth hunts

Good discussion item I think? From my perspective I’ve seen a split of support on youth hunts.

Some hunters love them, others not so much. Do they get more kids hunting, new hunterS?

In MN for instance the season in Oct 18. The added gun pressure has some deer go nocturnal, which bothers the die hard archery hunter.

I just know I didn’t need a youth hunt to get hooked on deer hunting? But times are changing...

There is not a single thing bad about the youth seasons when used to mentor and get the next generations into hunting.
