I have a pair of the 10x42 Diamondbacks and also have the Nikon monarch 5. I almost never use the vortex and prefer the Nikon's. A little more expensive but worth the money imo. There's a big difference in low light (first and last light).

Is anyone else having problems with coons or squirrels tipping the antennas causing a poor signal and then draining the batteries? I had two cameras that died after being up for less than two months. (I even replaced the AA pack with the d cell battery pack hoping to get 6-10 months out of it)
