I see it all the time on hunting shows… “get between the bedding area and food.” I’ve seen deer bed down everywhere. I guess my question is how many acres constitutes a bedding area? Some of these guys are hunting huge parcels, so is a bedding area 40 acres? 60? 80? I will say terrain does...

Do you guys notice that coyotes and bobcats affect the deer movement? I’m assuming they do, my cams have gone silent except for coyotes and I think just one bobcat. I have 2 nice brassica plots that are deerless, not sure what to make of it. I hunt 200 acres of crp river bottom bordering 30...

Anyone have any experience with EverCalm?

How it’s looking so far, I put triple 19 down before a rain also. For a first try at food plots, I’m pretty happy with them.

Not sure what that is on his chest, any ideas? It looks like it is getting bigger, the daytime pics are 5 days before the nighttime pic. Also, any ideas on his age?

Thanks for the reply’s. For clarification I have 3 separate plots that are 1/4 acre in size. I did a Ph test in each one with a tester you stick into the soil. I was getting readings of 7 to 8 on all the plots. Thanks for the advice, I’ll keep ya updated on the B&B.
