most guys will till the clover and plant brassicas, the clover will be as DBLTREE says green manure and add nitrogen to the soil. But broadcasting into standing clover the clover will most likely choke out any brassica seedlings.

Id leave the residue for sure, more benefits to leaving as opposed to burning it.

Whats the soil PH, If the PH is off the brassicas will taste very bitter. If the soil is to acidic the deer will avoid them.

The OTC tags went up roughly $125 this year in CO, ive hunted OTC and draw units in Colorado and i can get on board with this. It will only make it better, most public is absolutely overrun in the OTC units.
