From my experience I would find the thick knarly public areas, where neighboring groups will push deer into you. There is a lot of running and gunning that goes on in that area

It is and it isnt, if you look a little a deeper than whats written in the black white game laws. Just because they say you can shoot female deer, does that in fact make it the right thing to do. If the population is way down is it ok to make it worse just because someone is a begginer...

I would still encourage everyone to shoot a small buck before they shot a doe if the numbers are way down......even beginners and kids should understand they are only hurting themselves in the future if they continue to shoot females. Thats why no one gets to shoot hen pheasants.

If you are going to shoot does and really think its ok to do so...I know where some hen pheasants are that you can shoot as well.

Correct I am the landowner on most of it, but they are also doing it on a piece of ground we lease. I was thinking of putting up some 10ft high no hunting signs (on our side of the fence) right in front of all their stands that are on our fence lines. They would know and i believe they do...

Just wanting some opinions, we have a number tree stands including a outfitters equipment who has setup to hunt right on our fence lines with "their" shooting lanes setup to shoot on to our property. What would you do or how would you handle it ?

My experience is to work the funnel points, and play the wind while remembering that while it is important to not get busted while in the stand it is doubly so to not get busted on your way in and out of your stand.

Southwest Iowa is heavily hunted and the numbers are way down from what they were four our five years ago. There are still good spots but in the end you will have to big $$$ to get on the good spots. Also forgot to add SW Iowa is the poaching capitol of the world so you will have to put up...

I just converted ours to steel and got rid of the wood blocks.
