I buy ivomec from Brazil. It is marketed for livestock but can be used on dogs. This is a very inexpensive option. You need small mouth syringes that range .1–1 ml. It is extremely important not to administer too much. Our dog is 60 lbs gets 0.6 ml once a month. Shoot it to the back of her mouth, hold her muzzle closed and tickle her throat with the other hand. Works excellent - ticks bite and die soon after.
