I am serious. When you zoom the photo it looks like a tumor on his hind leg and one near the stomach. Red fox always have black legs, and I think the reason his body is black is because all the red outer fur is gone(shoulder mites?). His tongue out seems a little unusual to me, same with being out in the day, it seems unusual. Also looks like it's spine is out when i zoom in. I'm sticking with sickly red fox....But it's a crappy photo too. And a cross fox dosen't happen where I live, They are always red or grey fox here, maybe you guys in Iowa have cross fox, idk...
