This was a crazy day. It was November 10 and we had a recent encounter with a deer I called the tight Ten. He showed up on my trail camera on the 9th at 11am. So we were sure he would show up today. The morning started out with a small buck chasing a Doe. At 9:00am I had a 140" 10 come into my doe decoy. Then the day was real quiet. The wind was blowing WSW 15-20mph. Finally around 430pm the wind settled and that is when I heard a loud snap behind me. Behind me was a thicket and when I looked all I could see was legs and then he stepped out. I could not believe it, there he was. I turned around in my stand and got my camera on the deer. I found my clear shot and stopped him. I threaded the needle perfect he went roughly 35 yards and fell over. It was a perfect day! he green scored roughly 160. I attatched a link to my video.
