Hello everyone - need some advice for hunting tactics in CRP for gun season. We have almost 200 acres of knee high brougham grass with scattered cedars - there are several nice small creeks / ditches that have some hardwoods and heavy brush. I see scattered sign (somewhat random) throughout the area - scrapes / rubs / beds.
In the past I've tried still hunting the area, but has been a challenge. The prior owners did some large drives through this area but I'm not a fan of this tactic for safety reasons. My latest thinking is to set-up in a tree near the junction of 2 ditches. Anyone have any suggestions?
