Well he is certainly a poser! I too would say 3-1/2, but that is a beefy body, so maybe he is older. That one seems to have some mixed signals.

I agree - 3.5. Not that we know for sure, but size/shape of rack, back hips higher than the front. I think the bigger body is deceiving because deer are approaching their heaviest weight from now up until Oct. 1 and go down from there through the rut. Food for thought...

His head profile and body sure look older that 3, and his rack is carrying the mass out the beam and tines like a 4+.
