I planted 50# wheat/50#rye/10# Austrian Winter Peas on a 1 acre food plot in August. The peas are about 6 inches tall and the deer are completely removing them from the foodplot. I think next year I'll plant them a little heavier.

Has anyone else had experience with Austrian Winter Peas in Iowa?
