Big Bucks of Northwest Event

The O'Brien Conty Conservation Board is hosting a Big Bucks of Northwest Iowa Event held at the Prairie Heritage Center. The center is located between Sutherland and Peterson, Iowa, a mile North of Highway 10 on Yellow Ave. Big Bucks may be brought in by the public with a limit of 5 per a person between the hours of 9:00 A.M. - 6:30 P.M. on Friday March 11th and from 8:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. March 12th. The heads will then have to be picked up by 5:00 P.M. on Saturday. Each item displayed will be entered into a drawing to win an H&R 20 ga. ultra slug with a thumbhole stock held at 5:00 P.M. You may have your antlers scored and also view presentations on Saturday which include Food Plot Design from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M., Deer Depradation & Management by Maury Muhm & Tom Litchfield from the Iowa DNR which starts at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday and Filming your Hunt with Jon Bauer and Brandon Lafever from MidwestWhitetail.com. at 3:30 P.M. There is also vendor booths and lunch will be available to purchase from the O'Brien County Pheasants Forver. For more information call (712) 295-7200.
