Fall Seeding Options

There was a little misunderstanding with the guy that combined our beans this year and he ended up picking the beans that were suppose to be left for the food plot. Is there anything that I can plant now that will be in by the time it's to cold for anything to grow? It is not necessarily to hunt over, more of a winter food source and shed finder for the spring time. Thanks.

In my opinion, your only option is some winter rye. I'd get a boat load of that seeded NOW and just hope it gets a little height.

I agree...150#'s per acre and then hope for a good rain to get it germinated unless you can drill it in or disc it in lightly which would insure germination and growth much sooner...:way:
