After a disappointing hit on a Tom at 4-5 yards.....I finally knocked one down. I sat up on a corn field at 4:15 and within a 1/2 hour had 3 hens in the decoys. In the next 45 minutes I had 13 hens walking around the blind. Another 15 minutes and 2 Toms stepped out came into look at Pretty Boy. The wind was making Pretty Boy dance around way too much and actually made the Toms run off to about 80 yards. I yelped very softly and the hens started calling back to me. The Toms came right back into to 20 yards and that's where the story ends.
