I want to plant some WGF MIlo from "Welter Seed Company". I just bought a John Deere model 71 planter. Can anyone help me with the correct size seed plates? Thanks

They make a sorghum/milo plate. Ebay.
Sidenote: I started with a 2 row 71. They work great! And they are light. You can plant with a very small tractor.

Welter Seed Company says the rate is 15-20 lbs per acre if broadcasting their WGF Milo. I have a Fimco ATV-12Volt broadcast spreader. Any idea what gate setting I should use on the spreader for this WGF Milo?
Page 7 has some rates. It’ll be trial & error a bit until u figure it out. U can be off a bit. Start light on a pass & see how it goes until ur comfy.
