Need Help

Everywhere I look this year it seems I have a buck or bucks that look similar to another. I am having a tough time deciding if this is the buck I think it is and if his rack is as high as I think it is.

This is the buck last year.

I am hoping it is the same buck simply because the number of older bucks is sure small compared to other years.

I would think the swoop in the beam from last year would be more evident.

They have not been thinner in my time here. Tags were reduced to one either sex. Most parts of the province even had the length of the season cut almost in half along with the tag reduction. Does and fawns seem almost non existent.

GladI got drawn for a highly coveted southern zone moose tag so I will have a freezer full regardless.

I think same buck based on similarity in the left beams, which is about the best comparison I can find with this set of pics. And he's big and tall.
