Oat Preference So Far

Planted two oat varieties side-by-side this fall in northern WI - Whitetail Institute's Whitetail Forage Oats Plus and Wildgame Innovations Oatrageous.
So far, the hands down winner is Forage Oats Plus. Its being chewed right down and the Oatrageous is hardly even touched. Have had several frosts already and even some snow on Sept. 22.
If the preference changes, I'll update.

I did the same comparision last year...same spot, 1 strip of Imperial Whitetail forage oats, 1 strip of Jerry oats, and 1 strip of Plotspike oats, hands down winner was IP forage oats, 2nd place went to Jerry oats, and dead last was plotspike oats...they hardly touched the plotspike oats...so this year I went with Imperial whitetail oats in front of all stands and cheaper Jerry oats in other areas to fill out the food plot.
