Planting after rain

i tilled my plots on Wednesday in preparation to plant Rutabagas on Thursday! I had them Cultipacked and ready but I received 1.75 inch’s of rain before I got them seeded!
My question is do you think I need to rework the ground and Cultipack before seeding or can I still just put the seed down and pack again??
Thoughts?

Thanks

I'm guessing it may depend on the dirt you are planting into. If it's sandy you should be good to plant but if it drys with a crust on top after the rain I would be tempted to break that up a little before planting. Good luck!

Agree with above.
Ur main thing u could could think about.... as rain brings out new weeds- u may wanna spray them & then seed & pack down.
If that were my plot, with 1.75” rain- I’d wait til it’s dry & weed germination then spray, seed & pack down.
