I've been meaning to mention this on iowawhitetail.com!
I was at the WI Deer and Turkey Expo, and as a side trip we went to the Cabelas in Prairie du Chien, WI. After spending alot of time and money in Cabelas, we asked where a good place to eat was in the area. Spring Lake Inn was the reccommendation, so we headed north of town a few miles.
To make a long story short, it was one of the best meals that I have ever had, bar none. The next time you guys head across the border to WI, it would definitely be worth the detour. The rib-eye and the ribs come highly reccommended!
