SS Savage 220 Forest Camo

I finally broke down and bought a boyd's thumbhole for my savage 220 in forest camo and love the way it looks. I thought I would share a picture of it. The stock dropped right in perfect and it feels great in the hands! Now if I could just find a stainless trigger guard for it.

Looks good Mike. If I remember right the trigger guard is plastic, paint it with plastic paint to match.

It's metal on mine.

Looks good Mike!

That's a sweet looking gun! I've been very tempted for some time to put a boyds stock on my 22-250. The cheap plastic one that it came with serves it's purpose but it isn't pretty.

Congrats on the new stock! You won't be sorry you went with the thumbhloe stock. Even with a black trigger guard, they handle & shoot great! Great color choice on the wood too.

Looks sharp!! I've been looking at boyds stocks for my tc encore muzzeloader! They have really good prices for what you get!

Thanks guys. I am already planning to buy the nutmeg version next year for my all stainless Tikka T3 22-250 for coyotes. I might have to bring this slug gun out for coyotes Daver, it shoots good enough for it :)
