Saw the first strutting of the year this morning about 7:30. Three southern Iowa toms showing off in group of about 30 birds. They're starting about 3 weeks later than last year. Anybody heard them gobbling yet?
I have been seeing plenty of turkey the last couple of weeks, but they be seemed more focused on feeding than anything else. This morning was a little different seen four different flocks and all the toms where strutting. Counted as many as eight strutting birds in one of the feilds
