There my problem on about 14 acres of CRP, here's the plan I concocted. Burn early May (before the 15th) which ever trees are still showing any green treat with brush killer (I still have some 245-T) then burn again the following year 2013. Will it work or do I need a new plan??

how big are the trees? Remedy/diesel mix at 1:3 is very effective if they are 8" or less in diameter and not back breaking work that way either. Just spray the bottom 15" or so of the trunk, but not to the point of run-off.

Sounds good, they are not that big, just lots of them.

We have been using a similar mix 2-4D/diesel with good results... even bigger trees can be killed with a good soaking.... beats the heck out of cutting them down and treating stumps with tordon

Yep, they got rid of it years ago. You want to be careful with it, cause it kills everything and more.

Can you still us 245-T ? Figured it was outlawed.

I'm not sure if it has been outlawed, but you can't buy it.
