Timber foodplot- Dozer time

I often get asked about foodplots in timber. My go to is clover. Here is a video of a plot I am making on a buddy's farm that I am consulting and doing custom work on. I will till this up and plant rye and clover in September.

Could also drop a few of those trees right on the edge into the food plot and swing them around tight to the cover, to direct deer travel.

ridge in middle of big timber. Not really farmable, but they make badass foodplot locations if you can get them cleared.

Looks like mine but with a curve. I really like the long curved narrow plots like that so you can shoot across to the other side and deer can't see to the other end without walking to the middle. Good spot.
