Turkey Banquet???

First time turkey hunting. Maybe I'll bag a 30+ pounder, like the first time deer hunters that take a 190+ buck. I like this forum for the exchange of ideas over the internet. However, it there any conferences or banquets or clubs near the Des Moines area that will allow me to interact with live turkey hunters?

=) Wistfull thinking, my first turkey was a 16 pound jake that I annhilated with a 10 gauge and my first deer was a button buck that I drug out on my own when I was 10 years old if that says anything for size! But as Yoda says in Star Wars: "Size matters not!"
