I'm looking at hunting either this weekend or next but can't do both. Next weekend is better for me but I'm afraid after another week the big guys are gonna be done. What's everyone seeing and hearing now and your thoughts on waiting till next weekend?

I have never not killed a turkey during 4th season. I think it is one of the easiest seasons to hunt. Especially with a shotgun. Not sure if your bowhunting or not.

I do love running and gunning this time of year. You can get right on them in the roost with the foliage. It is almost a sure bet they will hit the fields as well since the timbers are so thick. Plus, stalking is fairly easy with cover if you have an area that lays well for it. I see no problem with waiting until the next weekend.

They'll still be in the mood next weekend. Just call sparingly and be in an area that they like to frequent.
