Has anyone tried frigid forage wild game buffet? I'm thinking of planting some next week.

Been there, done that... The commercial "Buck in a Bag" stuff is a waste of your $$$ ! If you got it free, might be worth throwing on the ground, otherwise read some of dbltree's stuff http://iowawhitetail.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=45 and save your money... You can pay for the advertising hype, but it won't draw deer as well as some (much cheaper) seed from Welters or some such.

It's a good mix.

Not everyone has to mix there own to save $$$.

I've had great success with their big n beasty. I think the key to these mixes is to prepare a good seed bed, fertilize and pray for rain. With all the clovers in that mix i dont think you can go wrong. Good luck and let us know your results

iv looked at it before, I liked the mix, I never planted any of it, but it looks like it would be good, iv tried there clover mix, I liked it
